Hi Guys,

Well, we have just been open a week now and here are some of the fish we caught. great fish once you can get to them. just like everywhere else in the country, the 'WIND" has been brutal!!!! Luckily we live in an area that we do, cause we have a lot of protected coves, rivers and bays on Lake Champlain and smaller lakes nearby, to deal with the wind. But, THE FISHING IS ON Guys!!!!!! We only have a few dates left in May, but we still have openings in June. June is still a great month! This shallow water spring fishing for bass, pike, and trout usually lasts thru mid July. If you like to troll for Lakers and Salmon, that kind of fishing is good from now until September. Well, guys, I don't know about you, but I am glad spring has finally arrived! Bye for now, hope to see you soon!! P.S. Many of you might know our long time friend and client Eric Backman, who has been with us since 1980?!! He is celebrating his "90th" birthday, and he still fishes with us about 10 times a year!! And, he can still outfish most of the guys. He is a great guy and a wonderful family friend. Eric was here this past week and a number of the photos you see here, is "Him"!!!

The Long Pond Lodge

TLodge_Picture_small.jpghe Lodge provides a vast array of fishing packages and can accommodate up to 18 people who come to fish. We provide meals and lodging packages, guide service only packages and full service packages where we combine all our services. We have support from 14 local guides who work with us to provide the best in service and knowledge. Long Pond, which is located directly behind our Lodge, is an excellent Adirondack Park fishery. It contains quality large and smallmouth bass, northern pike and a good mixture of large panfish. Rowboats are provided, free of charge, on all Lodge fishing packages. The fishing packages we offer for the pond do not include the guide service.  This is a great way to reduce your overall expenses and still enjoy a great fishing opportunity.  We do provide a detailed map that reflects all the hotspots and weedbeds. Adirondack Champlain Guide Service - Willsoboro NY Keeseville Exit 33The Adirondack-Champlain Guide Service is located about 4 miles off the Northway (Rt.87) at exit 33, Keeseville. After stopping at the red light proceed straight ahead and look for our sign on the right side of the road as you head South on Rt. 22.  It is located directly in front of our Lodge located on Long Pond.
